Spintronics of dilute and condensed magnetic semiconductors
Prof. Dr. Tomasz Dietl, Institut of Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw, Poland
I will survey the present understanding of low- and high-temperature ferromagnetism in magnetically doped semiconductors and oxides in a general context of today’s spintronics. Recent experiments that demonstrate the influence of the electric field and current on magnetism and the generation of current by time-dependent magnetization will be discussed.
